Americana Music Festival September 2011
This website was created on September 5, 2006 when massive development was occurring along the Noll Road Corridor. I founded the Noll Road Association to represent a different voice for my neighborhood. The nollroad.com website was a way that I could easily get the message to all of Poulsbo that great changes were occurring. Through the help of the City Council of Poulsbo, a building moratorium was passed in September of 2006 that allowed the City of Poulsbo time to change some of its ordinances so that development could proceed in the City with greater control over environmental concerns and design elements.
I ran for City Council of Poulsbo and was elected in January of 2008. I was a member of the City Council of Poulsbo for 2 years before I was elected Mayor in January of 2010. I am now running for re-election to the position of Mayor so that I can continue to work within City government to protect our neighborhoods, ensure economic stability while retaining the heritage, beauty and character of Poulsbo.
I promised my husband and my neighbors that I would continue to update this website. It will change as I have time to add new pages that might be of interest or concern to my fellow citizens.
