Below is a historical page from the Noll Road Association.
When the Noll Road Association was formed, there were 6 new developments proposed along Noll Road. This was in the summer of 2006. With the down turn of our economy, these developments are stalled, but not stopped.
Since this webpage was written 4 very important events have occurred.
Through my work and the work of many others, we have passed a new Critical Area Ordinance that will allow greater protection from storm water runoff and thereby protect Lemolo Creek. I chaired the stakeholder group that helped write this new ordinance.
The City of Poulsbo passed a new building code call the Planned Residential Development. I was on the team that helped write this new code. The PRD will encourage the preservation of trees during development, mandate greater open space and have design review of the houses that will be built.
We updated our impact fees so that development will pay for the needed infrastructure when building occurs.
The Noll Road Corridor study was commissioned and completed that allowed for the neighbors along Noll Road to have a voice in what our neighborhood will become as we grow. Noll Road will be improved with landscaping and sidewalks and will have a safe walk ways for our children. The road will also be reconfigured to enter Highway 305 at Johnson, where a traffic signal will be installed along with a park and ride lot for commuters. Thank you to the residents of Deer Run, Noll Road, Langaunet and Ridgewood for participating in the corridor study.
